Movie Review: The Matador

We were looking to rent some movies this weekend. We have quite a few out there that we haven’t seen so we had pleanty to choose from. We had heard from friends and family (who will remain nameless) that The Matador with Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear was really funny. Someone even said it was the “funniest movie he’d seen this year” – well, that would seem to be a good endorcement right? WRONG! This movie is terrible! (In my oppinion) At one point, the DVD stopped and started back and the beginning and I was actually hoping it wouldn’t work so we could stop watching it. After a wipe down, the DVD worked again so we were able to finish it. I just thought it was bad! It is ironic to see “James Bond” in such a crazy role but for me, that wasn’t enough to hold this movie together. Not my kind of humor, not my kind of movie.
